Fetal Fotos Foiled by Foot Fixation

For everyone awaiting the first super-duper clear images of our daughter…the wait will continue for another week. On Saturday, Kel and I drove to Huntersville, NC (a bit north of Charlotte) for an appointment at Fetal Fotos (I gagged at the name too, Lulu!) to have a 3D/4D ultrasound performed. Needless to say, Lulu took the drive in stride (she didn’t force a stop by initiating Operation “Bladder Bash” for practically the first long drive ever!), but picked a less-than-ideal time to exhibit her first real bout with modesty.

Not once, but twice, the ultrasound tech left the room with mom laying on her side to help “guide” Lulu into a position that was ideal for “ultrasounding.” We saw some cute shots of Lulu practicing for her future in sparring, and noted that she loves to stick her toes up her nose.

After a couple of hours, we were invited back for a second go-round next Saturday (Mom was advised that her temporary divorce from coffee and chocolate milk would have to persist for another week) at noon, at which time we should be able to get a clearer picture of our daughter.
