Well, it only took a few weeks, but the site is live! It’s definitely (as noted in the header) not finished-finished yet (I have a ton of ideas to implement before I can remove the “under development” disclaimer), and maneuvering around might feel a bit clunky at first, but it’s a start (and anything, really, beats the placeholder of Lulu in the ultrasound picture, even as cute as she is).
Between Bradley classes (this week was week 4—all about the husband/coach thingy), prenatal appointments (another of which is to come on Monday), burned-out pool pumps, feeling our precious lulubean kick (very strong feets, that girl has), getting the house ready (I swear I’ll fill in the pin-holes in Lulu’s chair rail this weekend…OK, before the 1st Eagles game of the season), and (oh yeah) work, we’ve been quite busy here in Spartanburg.
A quick shout out to my very good friend Dave and Kel’s long-time friends Beth and Lee for some early baby registry gifts (a super wicked compact high chair and a Boppy sling, respectively—pictures of Kelly’s cat Isis modeling both are soon to come!).
Stay tuned during the next week (or so) for major updates to the site (such as RSS feeds [for staying up to date], some visual improvements [what? you don't like the theme I developed from scratch?], a more interactive baby registry widget [a link in the green sidebar above the photos will have to do for now], and more) and check back often, as I’m sure both Kel and I will be posting here quite a bit.
Peace, Love, and LuluBean
