The Nursery

We finally got most of the nursery ready.

And Amazon (where the registry is located) is running a special: because people have purchased over $1000 of merchandise off the registry, I got 6 months of free diapers. (Check out the diapers piled in the pictures… and that’s not all of them!) If the rest of the products on the registry are bought, we get 6 months more free! What a sweet deal.

So here is the nursery as it stands now.

THE CRIB

THREE-DRAWER DRESSER/DIAPER CHANGER

LOVABLE 25-POUND CAT BY THE PAPASAN

GLIDER AND OTTOMAN
(that’s the valence on the chair; we don’t have curtains yet)

BASSINET
(in our bedroom for now; cats included)

I hope LuLu likes it, and I hope she likes the cats. If not, I’ll have to give the room to the cats. Isis has already pretty much taken it over. She’s obsessed with the glider:

We have some very busy weeks coming up. Our friend is coming from Maryland, another friend’s family is coming around Thanksgiving, and Grandpa and Granny are coming soon, too, we hope. Stay tuned for more belly pictures and a 4D ultrasound (scheduled for this Thursday at 6). Also, expect another Isis review later this week.
